White Sage has been used for centuries in rituals to purify and balance the energy around us, cleanse and renew objects and help to restore balance within.
The smoke from white sage is said to dispel negative energy, whilst the act or ritual of smudging with intention can help to reset you energetically, mentally and emotionally.
With a revitalising and refreshing aroma it has also been shown to purify the air of harmful bacteria, neutralise the air and protect your physically and energetically.
How to use
1. Light the end of your sage by holding over a flame until it begins to burn.
2. Allow the flame to burn for a moment, before blowing it out and allowing the cleansing smoke to rise in the air.
3. Focusing on your intention, move the smoke of your sage around your space, object or self until your intuitively feel it is time to stop.

4. If the smoke shrinks, blow a little until ember regains its deep glow.
4. Ensure your stick is fully out before storing in a cool, dry place.
When cleansing your space it is best to open all doors and windows to allow negative energy to be released. Begin your smoke cleanse at the front and make your way through each room, taking care to get into the corners, along window sills and around mirrors to remove stagnant energy. Alternatively do what intuitively feels right to you....there is no wrong way as long as your intention is clear.
